Our story

Hi, Adrian here, it is nice to have you here. I will gladly tell you how it all began…

Have you ever heard of a place called Czacz? It is a village in Greater Poland known for its flea-market-style sales of used goods from Germany, where large trading stalls are set up in private yards, garages and even barns. This is where our story begins.

One day, I bought several appliances in Czacz and sold them among family and friends. Later, I visited Berlin flea markets a few times to find interesting products “at the source”. In the meantime, I met Sylwia, my current wife, and together with her I imported appliances that sometimes required repair or refreshing. While I was figuring out how to restore them to working order, Sylwia made sure they looked good.

Eventually, I realised that what we were doing could turn into something bigger. So I started looking for wholesalers offering products from “consumer returns”, focusing on premium-brand appliances. Then I created a business plan, received a grant for my first business and opened the company in 2009. We regularly rented a van, travelled over 800 km, selected the goods, loaded the van up to the roof and returned to Poland.

Customers liked the store where we sold outlet household appliances from top brands at low prices. The business was developing better and better, so we started looking for more suppliers. After a few years, however, we felt that we no longer wanted to sell products from well-known brands. We wanted to create our own brand, one that would one day become one of them. A brand focused on quality and price, making sure that Polish customers would not have to overpay for the equipment they needed.

In 2015, we flew to China for the first time to see how household appliances are made — from raw material, through design, to the finished product. By the way, we recommend visiting China — it is beautiful!

Two years later, at a time when pressure cookers dominated in Poland, we introduced the first Yoer product to the market, which was, quite perversely, a slow cooker! The idea was risky, but it turned out to be a great success, and we gradually began to expand our product categories.

Today, our appliances are present in thousands of Polish homes, becoming assistants in cleaning and kitchen rituals, as well as companions in moments of relaxation. We are grateful for the trust that Polish customers place in the Yoer brand every day, and it motivates us to keep improving our offer.
