WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT TO HUMIDIFY THE AIR DURING HEATING SEASON?

• Optimal air humidity – should be in the 40-60% range, at 18-22℃. During the heating season, natural air humidity in the room drops because of the effects of radiators or portable space heaters.
• The negative effects of dry air - low air humidity fosters pulmonary system infections (such as strep throat and sinusitis). Skin and hair are dried-out, the mouth parched, the nose blocked, and the eyes red. Vision and concentration lowers, and you get tired quickly.
